“Remember on this one thing, said Badger. The stories people tell have a way of taking care of them. If stories come to you, care for them. And learn to give them away where they are needed. Sometimes a person needs a story more than food to stay alive. That is why we put these stories in each other’s memories. This is how people care for themselves. ”

Oh, I like this a lot!! Stories and testimonies, more important than food sometimes–so I guess that means I can keep talking, eh?!! God bless you, Sisters–have a great week! love, sis Caddo
Yes, I love testimonies and seeing the many ways God enters and changes lives.
Oh, to be a child again!
I always need stories, real and real-in-my-head. That’s why I think libraries are one of the greatest treasures of our country and the only tax increase I’ll vote for these days is for the library.

Amen!
All of the above comments are very true and familiar to me. But I love catch on the run stories, too. Like the one I an 83 year old co volunteer at the local art gallery shared with me. Astounding what you come across when you have heart, ears and eyes open and time, precious time to give.
Yes, stop and smell the roses, or … stop and hear the stories!
